The building is still on hold, since the new city inspector place new or more requirements, and for other reasons. We meet in the other building, and continue to pray. Thank you for your prayers.

July 25, 2025
Good morning;
We want to thank you for your support through the years.
We here in Somerton have continued with discipleship classes. Francisco had back surgery on May 10, so he had to be out for several weeks. During that time the men in our church were in charge of carrying out services. It’s been a time of healing here at the Cordovas.

As for the support we receive from Pine, it is used and has been of help in many ways. At times, it is the money that helps pay for medical bills, others it goes back to the ministry in many ways. We are forever grateful to our God first of all, to you, to our congregation and all individuals the Lord has used during our ministry. We also believed that God guides and gives wisdom to all in deciding that which is best for His kingdom.

Rafael is the only provider for his family. States your contributions help with their daily expenses and also it is used within the ministry in San Luis.

We thank you again, for your prayers mostly and for your support.

Greetings;
We pray and hope this finds you well. Our prayers are with you all.

We are thankful to our God for He is good. We praise Him for all that He is and does.

Thank you as well for lifting us in prayer, for your support in every way.

We have been working mostly with witnessing to others, sharing God’s love with a world that does not realize how much they need it.

In January we had the blessing and privilege of seeing this young man be baptized. He has enrolled in the military, and has been gone for 1 week now. But he asked to be baptized prior to leaving.

Yesterday we rejoiced in seeing our 3 grand daughters be baptized, as well as this young lady, Maricela. Maricela came to the Lord about nine months ago. She is loving this new life in Christ. Last week she approached my husband telling him she could not wait until he recuperated from his surgery, (which is on May 10). Our grand daughters had also expressed their desire to be baptized, so we planned for yesterday.
A young man (Jiovanny) who is on his first year of college also wanted to be baptized, but will wait on his dad who was out of town this weekend. Jiovanny started visiting us (his dad would bring him, and he still rides with his dad) when he was an eighth grader. He has changed and grown so much.

God is good. Always. We continue to move forward, seeking His will in all we do.

Again, thank you and God bless you.

We thank you for your support, specially for your prayers.

We are starting this 2025 with new hopes, new plans, and lots of excitement and anticipation on how God will move among our members and the community. Our emphasis will is to witness on one to one basis to our family, our friends, and neighbors. We are listening to a series of preaching on “How do I become servant for God?”

God has been patient, and loving with each one of us. My husband and I believe that for us to become the person He wants us to be, it is important to have a grateful heart, no matter the circumstances. We share this with our fellow Christians, our congregation.

We have found a place that distributes large amount of groceries for a minimum fee, so we are starting a small food bank, where we want to share the food with our community, as we also share the good news to them.

Again, thank you for your prayers and you continued interest on the work in Somerton

We have implemented a “prayer partner” system, where you are certain there is “one” person lifting you up in prayer.

We are excited for this year and the blessings He will bring to our lives and our community.
Blessings:
Celia
